Job Description

Overview:

Our client is seeking a Reliability Engineering Lead to ensure our electronic products meet the highest standards of durability and performance in harsh environments. This role involves leading root cause analysis, driving corrective actions, and supporting product reliability through advanced testing and diagnostics.

• Evaluate and analyze products, components, and materials to predict and prevent failures.
• Review product designs, material specs, and manufacturing capabilities for dependability.
• Build prototypes and perform testing to collect and interpret reliability data.
• Maintain and improve lab testing processes and capabilities.
• Recommend solutions based on statistical distributions and reliability models.
• Document findings and implement changes to maintain product reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address performance issues.
• Lead a team focused on failure analysis and customer return evaluations.
• Manage daily priorities, reporting, and trend analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (BSEE strongly preferred).
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with FMEA, 8D, and root cause analysis techniques.
• Proven leadership experience managing technicians and engineers.

This position is located in Tallassee, Alabama. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
