Overview:

Our client is seeking a technically driven and customer-focused Product Specialist to join their team. This role is instrumental in supporting pre-sales and post-sales efforts, gathering technical requirements, and acting as a key liaison between customers, sales, product management, and development teams. The ideal candidate will combine technical aptitude with strong communication and project coordination skills to guide discovery, integration, and customer solution delivery.

Job Details:

  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert, with deep knowledge of the company’s software platform and integration capabilities
  • Lead technical discovery calls with customers to understand integration needs and business goals, and translate those into actionable requirements
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, especially product management and development, ensuring clear communication and follow-up
  • Conduct live product demonstrations, with a strong understanding of how the software addresses customer pain points
  • Support the creation and maintenance of technical demo environments
  • Assist with RFP responses and proposal development for software-related opportunities
  • Contribute to product feature releases by drafting release notes, internal communication, and training documentation
  • Collaborate on and lead training initiatives for customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders
  • Help analyze customer feedback and contribute to voice-of-the-customer (VOC) efforts, feeding insights into the product roadmap
  • Provide occasional support on marketing content such as case studies and blog posts, in collaboration with the marketing communications team
  • Drive technical communication and alignment between customer needs and internal execution teams
  • Support project management aspects of integration and delivery timelines, ensuring tasks and requirements stay on track
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field (Business/Marketing with technical experience also considered)
  • 2+ years in a customer-facing technical role such as Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or Technical Product Specialist
  • Strong understanding of software integration processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with a self-starter mentality
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities with minimal supervision
  • Experience in SaaS or cloud platform environments preferred
  • Comfort with technical writing, documentation, and internal training creation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with platforms like Salesforce, Jira, or similar tools is a plus

This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite) in Duluth, GA. Some travel required.
