Overview:
The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue for our IT Staffing Solutions and Software Solutions business units through prospecting, acquisition, development, and expansion of client opportunities. On a daily basis, your goal will be to understand your audience's business problems and sell them on SOLTECH's capabilities to develop a custom solution that will meet their needs. Responsibilities:
We’re seeking a Business Development Executive who will focus exclusively on generating new business through supplier diversity programs, connecting with procurement and hiring managers at WBENC member companies, and helping us grow in the enterprise space. This is a rare opportunity to drive business development with a focus on diversity initiatives and contribute to our continued success.

In this role, you will be the primary driver of securing business with WBENC member companies and other enterprises with active supplier diversity programs. You will:

  • Leverage WBENC Certification: Utilize our WBENC certification to gain access to procurement and supplier diversity portals at enterprise-level companies.
    Build Relationships with Key Decision-Makers: Reach out to heads of supplier diversity and other key contacts within these organizations, using a combination of email, phone calls, and LinkedIn outreach to introduce our company and services.
  • Tap into Existing Connections: Leverage our existing network, relationships, and connections within the company, including employees and partners, to open doors and connect with decision-makers or buyers within target companies.
  • Prospect New Opportunities: Research and identify new prospects using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and other tools to expand the list of potential leads, focusing on companies that have supplier diversity initiatives.
  • Consistent Outreach: Engage in regular email and phone call outreach, maintaining a cadence to introduce our services, build relationships, and set up meetings with decision-makers.
  • Qualify Leads: Assess the needs of potential clients, ensuring they align with our solutions, and set up meetings with the appropriate internal teams for further qualification and follow-through.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with our internal sales, account management, and solution engineering teams to ensure smooth transitions and a high level of service delivery
Qualifications:
  • Proven Success in Sales: At least 5 years of experience in a sales or business development role, ideally within technology consulting, IT staffing, or a related industry.
  • Supplier Diversity Expertise: Knowledge of supplier diversity initiatives and experience working with Fortune 500 companies, particularly in the context of WBENC or similar diversity certifications.
  • Relationship-Driven: You excel at building strong, lasting relationships with C-suite executives, procurement officers, and hiring managers.
  • Persistence & Follow-Through: A strong ability to maintain a regular cadence of outreach, follow-up, and communication to build momentum and secure opportunities.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and supplier diversity portals, and the ability to leverage these tools to identify and track leads.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with the ability to tailor messaging to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • High Energy & Motivation: You are driven by success, financially motivated, and eager to exceed your sales goals.

This position is an onsite role in Atlanta, GA.
