Job Description

Overview:
As a Full Stack Developer, you will contribute to the design and implementation of a large new feature and add-on to the company's flagship product. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an industry leader on a 9 month contract engagement.

Job Details:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Assist in designing and developing a new feature using .NET Core/C#.
  • Support user interfaces using Angular.
  • Leverage AWS services for application hosting, deployment, and scalability.
  • Utilize AWS tools for streaming data processing and integration. 
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
  • Perform thorough testing to ensure the quality and reliability of the application.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize performance and user experience.
  • Document technical specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Provide support during the deployment and post-launch phases.
  • Collaborate with the project manager and team members to meet project deadlines. 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience developing software with C#/.NET.
  • Minimum of 3 years of development experience with SQL/RDMBS - MySQL or Aurora experience being preferred.
  • Familiarity with Entity framework and with source code control tools (Git, Bitbucket, etc).
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (ex: .NET Core, Selenium, etc)
  • Hands-on experience with Angular.js and RESTful API development
  • Exposure to cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
  • Bonus: Experience with AWS services such as Kinesis, Athena, or Redshift.
  • Understanding of service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience in an iterative and high-availability development environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 


Location:
This position is fully remote, but qualified candidates must be comfortable working EST.
