Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Enterprise Data Practice Manager to transform their data and analytics practice by bringing structure and clarity to a complex environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a proven track record of navigating challenging data landscapes, turning disorganized systems into streamlined, high-performing solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and uphold data management policies and procedures.
• Lead and mentor a team of data analysts.
• Create and execute methods for precise and secure data collection and analysis.
• Work in partnership with internal teams such as Sales, PMO, Finance, Services, and Marketing to ensure alignment on data and analytics services.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, delivering customized solutions that meet their business requirements.
• Establish guidelines for data sharing with senior management and external parties.
• Support daily operations of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and corporate standards.
• Produce reports and assist with data extraction as required.
• Monitor data systems and propose enhancements for performance.
• Safeguard databases and archives against security threats and data loss.
• Diagnose data-related problems and authorize necessary system changes.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience as a data practice manager or similar experience as a Data Scientist with leadership capabilities.
• Deep understanding of data management processes, including collection, analysis, and distribution.
• Familiarity with contemporary database and information system technologies.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience with QAD and/or SAP ERP is preferred.
• Knowledge of Azure or AWS Cloud services is advantageous.
• Power BI Certification is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Cloud DB Certification is preferred.

• Tallassee, Alabama or Duluth, Georgia (Hybrid - Onsite T/TH)
