Overview:
SOLTECH is seeking a QA Engineer with experience in the GPS monitoring/surveillance space to help execute Quality Assurance activities in relation to platform, web, device firmware, device integration, and mobile application development.

Job Details:
As a QA Engineer you will execute end-to-end Integration and regression tests involving devices, middleware and portal validation.

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases 
• Assist in maintaining current regression test framework as well as developing new tests
• Arrange the hardware and software requirements for a test setup
• Be part of scrum team delivering high quality software in accordance with sprint-level and release-level requirements
• Work with the product and development teams and define validation process for web and device integration tests
• Manage multiple assignments and align them with the business priorities and deadlines

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer
• Current experience testing robust web applications and hand held devices
• Strong knowledge of automated test frameworks (Selenium preferred!)
  • The majority of this role will focus on manual testing but automation will be added in the near future
• Experience with multi-layered, complex software architectures
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Solid knowledge in writing SQL queries
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  
  Nice to Have:
• Strong knowledge of any test case management tool, preferably Xstudio test management tool
• Experience in collecting and analyzing Splunk logs
• Experience with terminal emulator software apps like Tera term, Putty, Ucon etc. and collecting logs from test devices
