Our client seeks a Software Development Manager to drive platform development for our commercial software team. You will be managing compute, network, and storage resources for customer operations. The role involves autonomy in hiring and coaching engineers, fostering a culture of execution, and ensuring customer success with our services. Job Details:
Demonstrate knowledge of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi-tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability).
Act as subject matter expert for AWS and their associated product suite.
Develop full-stack solutions and evaluate architectural alternatives for cloud models (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS).
Define design patterns for high availability and disaster recovery.
Research, operationalize, and train others on cloud technologies and best practices.
Ensure solutions meet technical and functional requirements.
Provide technical expertise and ownership in issue diagnosis and resolution.
Manage team to achieve results, provide developmental feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Maintain industry knowledge on latest trends and technology.
Additional responsibilities as directed by senior management.

Requirements:
7+ years of experience as a Software Engineer delivering and testing code in a data-heavy, enterprise environment working with C#, .NET Core, and Angular
3+ years as a team lead, or team manager leading software developers.
Hands on experience with:
- Microservices architecture and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc)
- Creating data models, schema design and schema development T-SQL (stored procedures, views, triggers)
- Optimizing SQL performance, work with database partitioning, compression and indexing
- Severless architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their associated products suites at an enterprise level - AWS highly preferred.
- Planning , preparing, testing and performing database patches and upgrades
- Solving problems in the areas of distributed systems at scale, preferably at Systems level (Application level experience with systems orientation is also welcome)
Proven ability to lead teams while contributing hands on to systems architecture 
Proven ability to take ownership of a team, and lead them to success!

Location:
