Overview:

SOLTECH seeking a Senior Controls Engineer who will be responsible for the design and development of third party hardware to work specifically with an enterprise suite of products.  Qualified candidates will have 5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer and will be able to go on site 5 days per week in Conyers, Georgia.

Responsibilities:

• Develop programs and tools to meet end user needs, integrating with Copeland E2/3, Danfoss SM800A, Carol PR300, and more)
• Work directly with Electrical Engineering teams pre-install to ensure refrigeration controls are properly configured
• Engage with Field Service engineers post-install to troubleshoot issues in real time
• Independently develop controls strategies and develop test plans
• Make recommendations for controls programming alarm thresholds which will improve the accuracy and usefulness of alarms for customers
• Demonstrate superior work ethic, communication skills, and attention to detail 

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in an enterprise environment
• Degree in Hardware, Software, and/or Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience working directly with Field Service engineers for troubleshooting
• Hands on experience with Copeland, Danfoss, Carel, and Micro Thermo (2/4 of the skills required)
• Experience with communication protocols: Modbus, BAcnet, etc.
• Superior knowledge of the HVAC and Refrigeration industry
• Qualified candidates are required to work on site in Conyers, Georgia full time
