Senior Technical Product Manager
Enterprise Applications & Digital Platform Modernization
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Product Manager to lead product strategy, business requirements, roadmap planning, and delivery for a large-scale enterprise application modernization initiative.
This role serves as the bridge between business operations and engineering. You will work closely with executive leadership, business stakeholders, architects, developers, data engineers, infrastructure teams, security, and offshore engineering resources to transform complex operational workflows into scalable digital solutions.
This is not a traditional Product Owner role.
We're looking for someone who understands both healthcare operations and enterprise technology, can ask the right business questions, challenge assumptions, prioritize competing initiatives, and help deliver modern digital capabilities that improve organizational efficiency and user experience.
What You'll Be Responsible For
Product Strategy
- Define and manage the product vision and roadmap for enterprise applications.
- Partner with executive leadership to identify modernization priorities.
- Translate organizational strategy into executable product initiatives.
- Balance business value, operational needs, technical debt, regulatory requirements, and delivery timelines.
Healthcare Business Analysis
- Work directly with business leaders to understand operational workflows.
- Facilitate discovery sessions with stakeholders across multiple departments.
- Analyze current-state business processes and identify modernization opportunities.
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements and technical specifications.
- Drive process improvement through technology.
Product Ownership
- Own and prioritize the product backlog.
- Develop epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and release plans.
- Ensure requirements are complete, testable, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, demonstrations, and release readiness.
Enterprise Platform Modernization
Partner with technical leadership to modernize enterprise applications using:
- Cloud-native architecture
- API-first design
- Microservices
- Enterprise integration patterns
- Modern data platforms
- Reusable application services
Support the transition away from legacy applications toward scalable enterprise platforms that improve operational efficiency and user experience.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Serve as the primary liaison between:
- Executive Leadership

Build consensus across technical and business teams while driving projects forward.
Delivery Management
- Monitor project progress.
- Identify delivery risks and dependencies.
- Resolve blockers.
- Coordinate release planning.
- Support User Acceptance Testing.
- Measure product success using business and operational outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Business Systems Analysis, or Enterprise Application Delivery experience.
- Experience leading enterprise software modernization initiatives.
- Strong healthcare business knowledge, preferably within payer, provider, managed care, or other regulated healthcare environments.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex business workflows into technical solutions.
- Experience partnering with software engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, QA, and business leadership.
- Experience managing Agile product backlogs using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Healthcare payer, health system, managed care, or regulated industry experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise operational platforms involving customer/member services, provider operations, care management, quality programs, communications, forms management, or workflow automation.
- Experience with cloud modernization initiatives.
- Experience working with enterprise APIs, integration platforms, and modern data architectures.
- Familiarity with Snowflake or modern enterprise data platforms.
- Experience working alongside enterprise architects and software engineering teams during large modernization initiatives.
- Exposure to AI-enabled business capabilities and intelligent workflow automation is desirable but not required.
