Job Overview
We are seeking a highly collaborative ServiceNow Engineer / Technical Product Owner to lead the strategy, governance, and operational maturity of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and related ServiceNow data management capabilities.
This role blends the responsibilities of a technical product owner, ServiceNow engineer, and solutions architect. The individual will serve as the primary owner of the CMDB product and its roadmap while partnering closely with stakeholders, engineering teams, and platform leadership to modernize data governance and service architecture.
The position is heavily stakeholder-facing (approximately 80–90%), acting as the bridge between business leaders, technical teams, and platform engineering. You will translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies, define platform direction, and ensure that CMDB and asset data support enterprise operations.
You will partner with developers, testers, and program managers early in the development lifecycle to design, operate, and continuously improve large-scale services that empower IS, non-IS, and clinical caregivers. Through strong architectural thinking and product ownership, you will guide the ServiceNow roadmap, influence strategic decisions, and drive initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, and caregiver experience.
This role requires someone who can combine architectural thinking, platform expertise, and stakeholder leadership to restore trust in ServiceNow data and establish a long-term CMDB strategy.
