Our client is a well-known technology organization located in Bergen County, NJ. They are currently expanding their development team and actively looking for a backend developer with expertise in Node.js and/or python. This is a fulltime position.

Primary responsibilities:

• Responsible for development and maintenance of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Integrate backend systems with enterprise platforms, data lakes, and external service providers.
• Actively participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration processes, ensuring system reliability, scalability, and security across deployments.
• Proactively plan and deliver features and technical enhancements.

Required experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in backend development, focusing on Python or Node.js.
• 5-7 years of experience developing backend systems using JavaScript.
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of API design, system architecture, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
