Job Description

Our client is a Middlesex County financial organization that is searching for a C# engineer with expertise in API architecture and development and integration. Our client proudly offers a collaborative, forward-thinking environment where technology teams are recognized with the value they deserve.

**Fulltime position----no work visa transfer or sponsorship offered. Onsite 3x a week.**

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and implement REST APIs in a microservices environment, ensuring high availability, security, and alignment with governance standards.
• Architect and implement microservices using GraphQL and REST, adhering to modern microservices principles.
• Design, build, and test scalable APIs and platform services with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Act as primary liaison with the API management vendor.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy high-quality cloud-native services.
• Define and promote governance best practices for secure and efficient API development across the organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in API management, and .NET development with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming.
• 4+ years in a Technical Lead/Application Architect role within a professional environment.
• Knowledge of API management platforms (e.g., WSO2, MuleSoft), including governance and implementation.
• Expertise in enterprise architecture, integration, microservices, and cloud-native technologies.
• Hands-on experience in one or more of the following: .NET, AWS (Serverless services), CI/CD tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Bitbucket, SAML, OAuth, OpenID.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• REQUIRED: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
