Job Description

Our client is a Middlesex County, NJ financial firm with the need for an API/Integration Engineer to join their team.  Our client is about to embark on a major technical upgrade to include rebuild, replatform and integrate a number of critical systems that support the firm’s core business. 

Core responsibilities:

• Hands on development using React, JavaScript, Python, API Management, AWS.
• Extensive interface with all enterprise systems (front office trading, account management, CRM, etc).
• Work together with different business and technical teams to design, plan and integrate these various systems to maximize technical and business efficiency.

Required experience:

• 6+ years of professional experience developing and integrating applications in a financial services environment.
• Proven experience working with React, JavaScript, Python, AWS
• Outstanding communication skills required as this role interfaces with all areas of the organization.
• 4+ years of experience working in a financial services environment, with proven understanding of trading systems, portfolio management as well as financial planning and analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED
• Onsite 3x a week in Middlesex County, NJ
