Our Morris County, NJ medical client is seeking an experienced and driven IT Project Manager to oversee and execute both software development and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years of project management experience with a strong foundation in managing enterprise initiatives, coordinating timelines, mitigating risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of technology delivery cycles, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and a proven ability to manage concurrent initiatives in a dynamic environment.

This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of technology delivery cycles, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and a proven ability to manage concurrent initiatives in a dynamic environment.

This role is onsite 2x a week in Morris County, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, and deliver software and infrastructure projects from initiation through completion.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, and resource needs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and status reports.
• Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate as appropriate.
• Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, tools, and governance processes.
• Facilitate project meetings, including kickoffs, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Monitor project performance and use data to drive decisions and improvements.
• Support resource planning, budget tracking, and vendor management as required.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of project management experience, including both software development and IT infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple departments.
• Familiarity with technologies such as cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure), networking, enterprise applications, and software platforms.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana, Smartsheet).
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), or similar certification preferred.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Strong preference for a PM coming out of a professional services environment.

• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

• Onsite work required 2x a week near Parsippany, NJ
