Job Description
Diesel Shop Mechanic
Pay: $22-$38 HR/DOE | Location: Decatur,AL| Weekly Pay-Per diem offered to Qualified Candidates
Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repairs on crane equipment and related machinery.
- Diagnose equipment failures and identify effective repair solutions.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and air systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance and respond to equipment service needs.
- Use a full set of personal tools appropriate for journeyman-level mechanical work.
- Follow site safety requirements and maintain a professional, dependable work standard.
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level mechanic experience
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and air-system issues.
- Full mechanic tool set required.
- Ability to meet background-screening and drug-screen requirements.
- Experience with heavy equipment or crane equipment is strongly preferred
