JOB- 2230 Sheet Metal Mechanics- Journeyman

Pay: $30-$35 HR/DOE | Location: Benson, NC | Weekly Pay | Full Benefits 

Signature Labor Services is seeking skilled Journeyman Sheet Metal Mechanics for heavy commercial and light industrial construction projects in Benson, NC. If you have experience fabricating and installing commercial HVAC ductwork, can figure turns, and work independently from blueprints, we want to hear from you! This opportunity is ideal for professionals commuting from Dunn, Clayton, Garner, Fuquay-Varina, Angier, Lillington, Sanford, Selma, Four Oaks, Goldsboro, Apex, Holly Springs, and other surrounding communities within about an hour of Benson.

Responsibilities:

• • Fabricate, assemble, and install commercial HVAC ductwork
  • Figure and lay out duct transitions, offsets, and turns
  • Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
  • Install rectangular, spiral, and round duct systems
  • Measure, cut, bend, and fit sheet metal accurately
  • Install hangers, supports, and duct accessories
  • Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
  • Work efficiently with other trades on active construction sites

Requirements:

• 5-10 Years of Journeyman-level sheet metal experience
• Welding Cert, OSHA 10 REQUIRED 
• Experience on heavy commercial and light industrial construction projects
• Ability to figure turns and fabricate ductwork without constant supervision
• Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings
• Own basic sheet metal hand tools
• Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
