Experienced Millwright Superintendent

Pay: $70,000 - $85,000 DOE | Location: Maryville, TN 

Signature Labor Services is seeking an experienced Millwright Superintendent to oversee and coordinate field service operations with an emphasis on millwright work. This role manages day-to-day service activities including short-term projects, long-term assignments, and preventative maintenance work. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on field experience, and the ability to manage multiple job sites, crews, schedules, materials, and equipment needs in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

• Managing and calibrating set ups for equipment in a light industrial setting
• Coordinate with the General Superintendent to ensure all projects are staffed with qualified personnel and leadership
• Supervise and coordinate field personnel and project-related activities
• Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance across assigned projects
• Attend daily safety meetings and job task assignment meetings on active job sites
• Review daily equipment inspection reports
• Coordinate material and equipment needs with the Operations team
• Respond quickly to unexpected schedule changes and emergency situations
• Ensure weekend staffing, equipment, and material needs are properly communicated and executed
• Assist with annual employee performance reviews
• Identify employee development and training opportunities
• Mentor and coach field leadership and crews
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with company standards

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of field service technician experience
• At least 2 years of experience in job oversight and/or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 
• Must maintain required certifications, including EPA Universal Certification
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced service environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and all required background checks.
