Overview
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role provides information, support, and assistance to employees, job applicants, and the public on HR-related matters. Responsibilities include administrative and clerical support for the Human Resources Department while ensuring exceptional customer service for staff. The position requires maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.


Responsibilities

  • Ensures timely responses to employee questions and inquiries about employee benefits programs, eligibility, waiting periods and human resources policies, payroll, HR-related matters, etc
  • Assist Director of Human Resources with email inquiries
  • May assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Assist with the Maintenance of employee records and ensure all information is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Assist with onboarding new employees, including conducting orientations and processing new hire paperwork
  • Performs other incidental and related duties and projects as required and assigned


 Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred

 Must-Have Skills

  • 2 years of experience in an HR support role
  • Good working knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Attention to details
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HCM/HRIS systems
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
