Job Description

Our client is a fast-growing, 100% employee-owned, global consulting engineering firm specializing in geoscience, engineering, data, and tech solutions, supporting the mining and energy sectors. They're currently looking for a Geological Engineer to join their Mining & Energy group, in any of their US-based offices.

What You'll Do
  • Support mining hydrogeology evaluations, groundwater services, and data interpretation.
  • Contribute to groundwater modeling and subsurface investigations involving fluids and gases.
  • Conduct hydrogeological field testing and analyze results using statistical and mapping tools.
  • Run both numerical and analytical groundwater flow and transport models.
  • Design and assess large field test datasets based on time trends and spatial analysis.
  • Expect some travel—but it’ll be minimal.
What You'll Bring to the Table
  • Understanding of geochemistry, rock mechanics, and geophysics.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in geological engineering.
  • Strong grasp of groundwater flow modeling and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Experience working at surface and underground mine sites.
  • Familiarity with groundwater modeling tools such as MODFLOW or FEFLOW.
  • Bonus if you bring knowledge of economic brines, potash/phosphate mining, or injection wells.
  • Clear, confident communication skills for team collaboration and technical explanation.
