Job Description

Our client is a mid-cap North American precious metals (Au/Ag) producer with operations in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. They're all about innovation and sustainability, constantly looking for new ways to expand their reserves, deliver value to shareholders, and make a positive impact on the communities they're part of.

They need a geo who's great with numbers, can analyze exploration performance, and turn data into insights that drive big decisions. You'll also play a key role in due diligence for corporate opportunities and keep communication smooth across teams.

What You'll Do:

  • Track & Analyze Data: You'll keep an eye on performance metrics, budgets, financials, and exploration results to support our business strategy.
  • Reporting: You'll create professional reports that highlight key findings for leadership and the board.
  • Present: You'll develop engaging presentations that break down exploration trends and findings for executives.
  • Visualize Data: You'll design graphs, charts, and Gantt charts that make complex exploration data easy to digest.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: You'll analyze and synthesize exploration data to support smart decision-making.
  • Perform Due Diligence: You'll assist with research and analysis for corporate development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Team: You'll work closely with other departments to gather data and align on strategic goals.
  • Track Performance: You'll monitor trends and pinpoint areas for improvement.

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree in Geology or related field, with 5-8 years of experience in exploration geology.
  • Strong data analysis, reporting, and visualization skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Ability to present complex data clearly to non-experts.
  • Understanding of marketing and branding in exploration.
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects independently.


Bonus points!

  • A Master’s degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Project management and team leadership experience.
  • Analyst level experience in corporate development or investment banking.
