Our client is a U.S.-based precious metals producer with five operations across North America. They lead with innovation, sustainability, and care for their people and the planet. They're looking for a Sr. Exploration Geologist for their flagship open-pit silver and gold mine, home to the largest silver reserves in the United States.

What You'll Do:

• Design and lead exploration programs, including mapping, sampling, drilling, logging, logistics, data collection, and analysis.
• Supervise exploration activities and lead the technical team.
• Ensure all work meets safety and environmental regulations.
• Plan exploration projects in line with the mine's long-term strategy.
• Manage budgets and minimize delays.
• Update geological models and keep data top-notch.
• Rank and schedule exploration targets.
• Oversee drilling programs, coordinate with contractors, and track quality.
• Report progress and results to management with clear visuals and presentations.
• Collaborate across teams and foster a positive, productive environment.
• Mentor and support staff development.
• Help with reports for government and other stakeholders.

What You'll Bring:

• A degree in geology, with bonus points for advanced exploration or mineral deposit studies.
• 7-10 years of exploration experience with Great Basin know-how as a plus.
• Skills in geological modeling, mapping, sampling, drilling, and logging.
• Expertise in precious metals, especially Au-Ag epithermal deposits.
• Experience with soil geochemistry and drilling program design.
• Proficiency in software like Leapfrog, ArcGIS, ioGas, and acQuire.
• Leadership, teamwork, and a proactive, adaptable approach.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
