Job Description
Our client is a mid-cap precious metals producer looking for a Project Manager to provide leadership in PM protocol and methodology. Leveraging your deep understanding of project engineering and management, you'll ensure that our client's projects are aligned with their strategic goals.
What You'll Do: - Assist in project engineering, construction, safety, management, and control systems.
- Prepare and update progress reports and presentations.
- Supervise third-party contractors, ensuring timely updates on costs, schedules, safety, and risks.
- Develop and audit project scopes, costs, schedules, and risks.
- Provide guidance and resolve complex project control issues.
- Analyze project execution, costs, trends, and changes, recommending corrective actions.
- Manage project controls documentation.
- Support Contracts and Procurement systems, including invoicing and subcontract agreements.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
- 10 years in relevant work, with expertise in project management, procurement, construction, safety, and cost control in a mining or industrial environment.
- PMI or CCM preferred; professional engineering registration is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong communication, self-motivation, stakeholder management, and project controls knowledge.
