Our client is a mid-cap North American precious metals (Au/Ag) producer with operations spanning the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Innovation-driven and sustainability-focused, they're constantly exploring new ways to expand their reserves while delivering lasting value for shareholders and making a positive impact in the communities they serve.
They're currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor for their signature project near Winnemucca, NV.
What You'll Do:
- Oversee all mine electrical operations, ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of power, lighting, controls, and communication systems.
- Lead and manage the Electrical Department, including supervising staff and driving performance.
- Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program to enhance equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards (e.g., RAGAGEP).
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve production goals and address operational challenges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, including emergency repairs.
- Plan and execute electrical system installations and upgrades.
- Manage electrical budgets and maintain inventory levels.
- Oversee contractor performance to ensure projects are completed on time and to standard.
What You'll Bring:
- Associate's Degree in Electrical Technology or equivalent experience; a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- 5-7 years of industrial electrical experience in a maintenance environment.
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and best practices.
- Experience with CMMS systems like SAP or JD Edwards.
- Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
