Location: New York, NY
Compensation: $180,000 – $210,000 base salary

Overview

Our client is hiring a Senior Account Executive, Expansion, to build and own the strategic account management function from the ground up. This is a high-impact role suited for someone who combines strong commercial instincts with operational rigor and enjoys working closely with enterprise customers to drive long-term growth.

This position requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You’ll manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, expand relationships, and play a key role in shaping how the company approaches retention and growth at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and grow a portfolio of 6–10 enterprise accounts, each representing significant annual revenue
  • Drive net revenue retention through renewals, upsells, and cross-sell opportunities
  • Act as the primary strategic partner to clients, aligning product capabilities with their business goals
  • Build and maintain strong, multi-threaded relationships with senior stakeholders, including VP and CMO-level leaders
  • Develop tailored growth strategies for each account, including organic and AI-driven initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to introduce new product features and ensure successful adoption
  • Establish and refine account management processes, including onboarding, quarterly business reviews, account health tracking, and expansion planning
  • Partner directly with clients to demonstrate value, including hands-on support in implementing workflows and use cases

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales, ideally within a high-growth or enterprise-focused environment
  • Proven track record of managing and expanding enterprise accounts with a focus on retention and revenue growth
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-making at the executive level
  • Strong operational mindset with the ability to build processes and frameworks from scratch
  • Background in consulting, growth marketing, or SEO is highly preferred
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with high ownership
