An established, employee-owned commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to join its team. This is a direct-hire opportunity for a construction professional who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working closely with clients and field teams, and driving projects from planning through successful completion.

You'll be part of a collaborative organization that values safety, teamwork, accountability, quality, and long-term career development. As an employee-owned company, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of the organization while building a rewarding long-term career.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Manage commercial construction projects from planning through completion.

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, costs, and profitability.

  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.

  • Manage subcontracts, purchase orders, pay applications, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.

  • Track project buyout, procurement, material deliveries, and cost forecasts.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, look-ahead schedules, and planning documents.

  • Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, and design teams.

  • Support field teams by communicating project updates, schedules, and safety expectations.

  • Identify and address potential schedule, cost, and coordination issues before they impact the project.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Assist with estimating and developing proposals for upcoming projects.

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of commercial construction experience, preferably in a Project Manager or similar leadership role.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of construction documents, project schedules, budgets, and cost management.

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.

  • Collaborative, team-oriented leadership style.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Experience with Timberline or similar construction software is a plus.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

What You'll Get

  • Competitive compensation

  • Performance-based incentive opportunities

  • Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP) after one year

  • Comprehensive health insurance

  • Dental and basic life insurance

  • 401(k) retirement plan

  • Paid holidays and PTO

  • Flexible spending accounts

  • Tuition assistance and professional development

  • Employee Assistance Program

  • Direct-hire, long-term career opportunity

Why This Opportunity?

This is more than a project management position—it's an opportunity to join an employee-owned construction company where your work directly contributes to the success of the organization. You'll have the autonomy to lead projects, the support of an experienced team, and opportunities to continue developing your career in commercial construction.

If you're an experienced Commercial Project Manager looking for a stable, team-oriented organization where you can make an impact, we'd like to hear from you.
