About the Opportunity

Saige Partners is seeking a Fraud & Disputes Specialist to join a financial services team. This position is responsible for investigating member disputes and fraudulent activity, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping protect members and the organization from financial loss. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the financial industry and a strong understanding of fraud, disputes, and financial services regulations.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Process and monitor member disputes while communicating with members regarding inquiries, dispute status, required documentation, and resolution timelines.
  • Ensure disputes are processed in accordance with Regulation E and applicable card network rules.
  • Monitor account and transaction activity to identify, investigate, and mitigate suspected fraudulent activity.
  • Investigate suspected check fraud, wire fraud, account takeover, identity theft, and uncollected returned deposit items.
  • Escalate BSA/AML and OFAC concerns to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Specialist to ensure appropriate compliance requirements are met.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and case records related to fraud investigations and member disputes.
  • Apply knowledge of applicable fraud, dispute, privacy, BSA/AML, OFAC, and financial services regulations to daily responsibilities.
  • Communicate professionally with members and internal teams throughout the investigation and resolution process.

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in the financial industry.
  • Experience with fraud investigations, member disputes, banking operations, or related financial services functions preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Regulation E, BSA/AML, OFAC, privacy requirements, and card network rules.
  • Strong investigative and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify unusual account and transaction activity and determine appropriate next steps.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential financial information with discretion.
