Asbestos Abatement Supervisor


Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a self-motivated Asbestos Abatement Supervisor to oversee onsite abatement projects, lead field employees, and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable federal and Nevada requirements.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of asbestos abatement experience, strong knowledge of NESHAP and Nevada regulations, and the communication and leadership skills necessary to effectively manage projects and crews in the field.

What you will be doing as a Asbestos Abatement Supervisor…

  • Supervise asbestos abatement projects and onsite crews from start to completion.
  • Ensure projects comply with NESHAP requirements and applicable Nevada state regulations.
  • Manage employee schedules, time, productivity, and jobsite activities.
  • Provide clear and professional communication with employees, customers, and project stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure work is completed according to established procedures.
  • Travel to various project locations as needed.
  • Promote a safe, organized, and compliant work environment.
  • Support licensing requirements and provide necessary work experience documentation to obtain a Nevada Abatement Contractor's License, if applicable.
Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Asbestos Abatement Supervisor…
  • Minimum of 3 years of asbestos abatement experience.
  • Working knowledge of NESHAP requirements and Nevada asbestos regulations.
  • Current Nevada Abatement Contractor's License, or sufficient experience to qualify for licensure with the company.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project locations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise employees and manage jobsite activities.
  • Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hands-on field environment.
