Electrical Maintenance Technician
Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
Position Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Technician installs, troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains electrical systems, production equipment, and facility machinery in a manufacturing environment. This role also supports preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and electrical installations to help keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and machinery.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams.
- Build and install control panels and electrical components.
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and electrical systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues and complete electrical and basic mechanical repairs.
- Maintain maintenance records, manuals, and work orders.
- Operate forklifts and scissor lifts as needed (training provided).
- Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE.
- Assist with equipment installations and support maintenance projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Technical training in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred, but not required.
- Previous maintenance or electrical experience preferred; training available.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- PLC experience is a plus but not required.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Strong attendance, dependability, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work overtime or weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
