Senior Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer – High-Speed I/O

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect, design, and develop high-speed I/O circuit blocks, including Transmitters (TX), Phase-Locked Loops (PLL), Clock and Data Recovery (CDR), Analog Front-End (AFE/CTLE), and Decision Feedback Equalizers (DFE).
  • Conduct feasibility studies for next-generation interface building blocks through analysis of state-of-the-art architectures and implementations.
  • Design, simulate, validate, and optimize mixed-signal circuits to meet performance, power, and area targets.
  • Perform laboratory validation, silicon bring-up, and high-speed serial link characterization.
  • Present architecture proposals, design reviews, and technical results to local engineering teams and global counterparts.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the design, verification, validation, and product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
  • Strong background in mixed-signal integrated circuit design.
  • Proven experience designing one or more of the following high-speed circuit blocks:
    • Phase-Locked Loops (PLL)
    • Delay-Locked Loops (DLL)
    • Clock and Data Recovery (CDR)
    • Decision Feedback Equalizers (DFE)
    • High-speed Transmitters (TX)
    • Analog Front-End (AFE/CTLE)
  • Experience evaluating new interface architectures and conducting feasibility studies based on industry-leading implementations.
  • Hands-on experience with silicon validation, laboratory measurements, and high-speed serial link characterization.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical concepts and design reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary engineering environment.
