  • Lead backlog refinement, sprint planning, and sprint review activities in an Agile environment.

  • Analyze, document, and improve end-to-end P&C insurance business processes.

  • Create and maintain process flows, procedures, and documentation using tools such as Visio.

  • Support actuarial, insurance pricing, and rating initiatives by documenting data attributes and business rules.

Stakeholder & Vendor Collaboration

  • Act as a primary liaison between business, IT, customer teams, and external vendors.

  • Hold daily touchpoints with onshore and offshore team members to review deliverables, risks, and blockers.

  • Work with external web development vendors and internal leadership to bridge business needs and technical solutions.

  • Influence and guide stakeholders using strong communication, documentation, and leadership skills.

Testing, UAT & Defect Management

  • Create UAT test plans and support business users through execution of test cases.

  • Lead UAT efforts, defect triage, and resolution in collaboration with IT and vendors.

  • Coordinate re-testing and ensure defects are fully resolved before release.

  • Ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations and quality standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in an Agile environment.

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst on business-driven and IT initiatives.

  • Strong Property & Casualty insurance experience on the business process side.

  • Experience working on actuarial, insurance pricing, or rating tools projects.

  • Familiarity with insurance policies, forms, and letters, including ISO-based forms.

  • Experience with integration and end-to-end solutions, including policy administration systems.

  • Proven Agile leader who works independently and drives results.

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills across Business, IT, Customer teams, and vendors.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong PowerPoint proficiency.

  • Strong documentation, influencing, and leadership capabilities.

  • Experience leading UAT efforts and defect management resolution.

  • Strong command of written and spoken English.

Technical Skills & Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with external web development vendors and resolving defects related to web platforms and languages.

  • Any Insurance Policy and Form experience strongly preferred.

  • Any Actuarial or Policy Rating experience, including use of MS Excel to define actuarial data attributes and elements.

  • Experience modernizing or digitizing underwriting practices.

  • Any Insurance Data Analytics or AI-related project experience is a plus.

  • Exposure to Generative or Predictive AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Azure) is a plus but not required.

  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, etc.).

  • Experience updating insurance forms using Word and/or LibreOffice.

A Day in the Life
