Position: Test Engineer (Cedar Rapids, IA) 

Job Overview: We are seeking a Test Engineer to support ongoing engineering projects. In this role, you will collaborate closely with team members to test and maintain a variety of engineering devices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in executing test procedures, ensuring device stability, and contributing to successful software releases.

This is a contract role.

• Execute both automated and manual test suites on GNSS-based receivers

• Test GNSS, CP, and various device OS functionalities

• Drive innovation in testing processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

• Monitor baseline health through integration testing

• Troubleshoot and root-cause engineering issues through analytical testing

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience

• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++

• Experience with testing methodologies and debugging engineering systems

• Self-motivated with strong task execution and problem-solving skills

• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a globally distributed team

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities

• Desired (but not required): Knowledge of GNSS principles, including signal generation, transmission, reception, measurement construction, and position calculation
  

• Passion for engineering quality and continuous improvement

• Curiosity and initiative to explore new tools and processes

• Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
