Restoration Technician - Des Moines

Job Overview: Our client is seeking to add a NEW Restoration Tech to their Des Moines team.

This is a Direct Hire

• Load and unload work vehicles with necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for each project.

• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, jobsite, and work area.

• Set up staging areas and prepare rooms or spaces for construction or restoration work.

• Follow assigned work processes with accuracy and attention to detail.

• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and risk management practices.

• Communicate effectively with the crew chief and team members to ensure efficient workflow.

• Complete end-of-day tasks including cleanup, equipment breakdown, and site organization.

• Help keep the warehouse, office, and grounds clean and organized.

• Learn and grow your knowledge of tools, cleaning products, safety procedures, and job techniques.

• Perform other tasks as needed to support the team and meet project deadlines.

• Strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality work.

• Clear and professional communication skills.

• Prior experience in construction, restoration, or cleaning is preferred.

• High school diploma or GED required.

• IICRC certifications and Xactimate™ experience are a plus.

• 2 years of estimating or insurance adjusting experience preferred.

• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs., and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.

• Physically capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and entering confined spaces like crawlspaces or attics.

• Comfortable with tasks that include repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.

• Willingness to work in environments with fumes, noise, dust, heat, and strong odors; respirator use may be required.

• Flexible availability including occasional nights, weekends, and on-call shifts.

• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
