Aviation Project Manager
Full-Time | Atlanta, GA (or Augusta, Cartersville, Savannah)
Our client, one of the Southeast’s leading privately held architecture and engineering firms, is seeking an experienced Aviation Project Manager to support aviation projects across their Georgia offices, including Atlanta, Augusta, Cartersville, and Savannah.

The Aviation Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing aviation engineering projects, ensuring quality execution from project scoping through design, scheduling, budgeting, and client communication.
Perform engineering calculations and design analysis for general and regional aviation facilities in accordance with Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) specifications.
Serve as the primary client liaison, managing planning, funding coordination, scheduling, subcontracting, and collaboration with GDOT.
Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious project delivery that meets or exceeds client expectations.
Prepare design documents, exhibits, and reports using MicroStation and OpenRoads. Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is also valued.
Maintain quality control and assurance in line with corporate standards throughout the development of project drawings, reports, and specifications.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline (preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia (required)
6–10 years of experience in aviation or civil engineering, with a focus on FAA/GDOT aviation projects
Proficiency in MicroStation (preferred); AutoCAD Civil 3D skills acceptable
Strong communication, organizational, and team collaboration skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Valid driver’s license required for periodic travel to outdoor project sites
