Business Banking Relationship Manager

Job Overview: As a Business Banking Relationship Manager, you will have the opportunity to cultivate and deepen relationships with both prospective and existing business clients. This role is highly consultative and focuses on delivering tailored financial solutions to meet client needs. While prior experience in a similar banking relationship role is essential, we offer a collaborative and professional environment designed to support your ongoing development and advancement within the banking industry.

 

This is a Direct Hire role.


What you will be doing as a Business Banking Relationship Manager…

  • Develop and execute strategic calling plans to acquire new business clients and grow relationships with existing ones.
  • Conduct credit analysis and manage a portfolio of business banking clients, ensuring proper credit quality and timely processing of renewals and past-due accounts.
  • Act as the subject matter expert in Business Banking for a designated group of Branch Managers within your territory.
  • Collaborate closely with Branch Managers to identify business opportunities and expand customer relationships.
  • Analyze business financial statements to assess loan requests, identifying strengths, risks, and opportunities.
  • Proactively cross-sell a full range of financial products and services to meet client needs.

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Business Banking Relationship Manager…

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a relationship management role within the banking industry.
  • Proven ability in business development, consultative sales, and portfolio management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a deep understanding of credit and lending practices.
  • Ability to clearly communicate the bank’s Business Banking strategy and value proposition.
  • A client-first mindset with a focus on building long-term, trusted relationships.
