Job Title: Allied Electronics Developer

Location: 100% Remote (Client based in Grand Rapids, MI)

Contract Duration: ASAP – February 1, 2026

Overview

Our client, is seeking a highly skilled Allied Electronics Developer to join their engineering team. This role requires hands-on experience integrating Allied Electronics systems in a NextGen POS fuel environment. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with strong backend development skills, who thrives in an Agile SAFe environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for Allied Electronics integration within a NextGen POS fuel system

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Translate technical requirements into scalable, testable, and high-quality software

• Conduct performance optimization and bug resolution

• Engage in team code reviews and architectural discussions

• Mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Required Skills & Experience

• Allied Electronics integration expertise, particularly with fuel controller and POS systems

• Hands-on backend development using C#, .NET Framework (including .NET Core)

• Experience developing SOAP or RESTful APIs

• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, and related CI/CD tools

• Strong database development skills using SQL Server, Entity Framework, or ADO.NET

• Deep understanding of object-oriented programming, architectural patterns, and software design principles

• Experience with relational database design, performance tuning, and SQL optimization

Preferred Qualifications

• Allied Electronics certification

• Experience in fuel retail systems or environments

• Local candidates preferred
