Job Summary
This position is a key role in developing products and coordinating custom jobs for industrial process cooling, heating, and fluid handling equipment by researching and implementing the latest technologies. In addition, act as technical support for the sales, manufacturing, and service departments promoting a team environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Design and develop custom and standard products for the industrial process cooling and heating industry.
• Coordinate the release of jobs by providing drawings and notes to production.
• Build bill of materials structures for both standard product and custom job releases.
• Provide shop support for the development of new products, building of customer units, and product maintenance.
• Develop and implement testing plans as required.
• Interface directly with customers to ensure that the product meets expectations regarding performance, quality, and appearance.
• Respond to and implement continuous cost reduction and product improvements.
• Provide technical support for Sales, Purchasing, and Service departments.
• Interface with vendors, other engineering and manufacturing groups as required.
Candidate Requirements
• BS in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in the design of industrial equipment (0 to 6 years).
• Interest in refrigeration, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
• Proficient with computers and basic business software.
