Senior Account Manager

Job Overview: Our client, in commercial insurance, is seeking a Senior Account Manager to join our Risk Management team in Denver, Colorado. This role involves managing a growing book of generalist and real estate accounts, providing top-tier service to clients, producers, and insurance carriers.

 

This is a Direct Hire role.


What you will be doing as a Senior Account Manager…

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts with a proactive, service-driven approach

  • Oversee account renewals and the marketing of new and renewal business

  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders

  • Coordinate with resources such as Claims, Legal, Safety, and Marketing when needed

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced client service

  • Prepare materials for client meetings and attend as needed

  • Respond to client inquiries regarding policy coverage and service

  • Collaborate with service teams to ensure seamless account management

  • Mentor and support team members as a subject matter expert

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Senior Account Manager…
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 6–8 years of experience in the commercial insurance industry

  • Active Property & Casualty Insurance license

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Exceptional organizational, problem-solving, and time-management abilities

  • Experience with EPIC Agency Management Software preferred

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

Hours you will be work as a Senior Account Manager

Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. After 90 days, enjoy a hybrid schedule with in-office work Tuesday through Thursday and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
