Senior Project Manager / Roadway Engineer

Location: Dallas, Texas

Minimum Experience: 15 years

Education: BSCE or equivalent

Registration: Professional Engineer (PE)

Required Skills: AutoCAD or Microstation, Civil Engineering, Microsoft Office, Project Management, Roadway Design, Transportation Engineering

Make a meaningful impact on your career, client projects, and the community. Our Client is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Roadway to join their Dallas office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Independently plan and execute work requiring sound judgment and adaptation of standard engineering techniques and procedures.

  • Lead and support the successful delivery of roadway and transportation design projects, ensuring a positive client experience.

  • Serve as the project manager and/or technical expert on moderately complex projects or portions of larger projects.

  • Contribute to marketing and business development efforts, including proposal writing, client interviews, and presentations.

  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, both existing and new.

  • Manage project performance, including budget, schedule, and risk mitigation.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and design staff.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent from an ABET-accredited program.

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas, or ability to obtain via reciprocity.

  • 15+ years of experience in municipal transportation and stormwater project delivery.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation.

  • Demonstrated success in client management, project leadership, and business development.

  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
