We are actively seeking a Licensed Professional Engineer to lead land development projects and serve as the primary client liaison. This is a leadership role ideal for a motivated individual who excels in engineering design and project management and thrives on building professional relationships.
Candidates with expertise in water resources and/or transportation engineering will be given strong consideration.

Engineering & Design
Lead design of water supply systems, wastewater treatment processes, municipal improvements, subdivisions, and site development.
Conduct technical analyses, calculations, and regulatory research.
Prepare and review design documents, specifications, and permit applications.
Collaborate with Engineering Technicians using AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop design solutions.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Project Management
Lead proposal development, fee estimation, and contract negotiations.
Manage project budgets, schedules, and priorities across multiple assignments.
Communicate project status and updates to clients, staff, and company leadership.
Represent the firm in meetings with city councils, planning boards, and stakeholders—occasionally outside standard hours.
Business Development
Cultivate client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
Represent the company in meetings, presentations, and professional events.
Build your network within the engineering community through active participation in industry groups, conferences, and local organizations.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in Iowa, or ability to obtain licensure.
5–7 years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (hydrology or environmental focus preferred).
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.
Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
