Carpet Cleaner

Job Overview: Our client is seeking to add a detail-oriented and hardworking Carpet Cleaner to their team. The Carpet Cleaner will be responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and restoring carpets, rugs, and upholstery in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate should be familiar with various cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect carpets, rugs, and upholstery to determine the best cleaning method.
• Use steam cleaning, shampooing, dry cleaning, and spot treatments to remove dirt, stains, and allergens.
• Operate and maintain carpet cleaning equipment, such as steamers, extractors, and vacuums.
• Move furniture as needed to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Apply protective treatments to carpets and upholstery as requested.
• Identify and report any damages or issues with carpets and furniture.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and request restocking as necessary.
• Follow safety guidelines and company policies while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of carpet cleaning experience
• Knowledge of carpet cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals
• Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
