Professional Land Surveyor 

Job Overview: Our client is seeking to add a NEW Professional Land Surveyor to their team. The Land Surveyor is responsible for utilizing surveying equipment to determine property lines and boundaries. 

This is a Direct Hire role.

What you will be doing as a Transportation Engineer…

• Utilize surveying equipment measurements to identify property boundaries and lines
• Investigate property details through title documents, survey records, and land records
• Accurately document property lines and plots with local land use authorities
• Handle office tasks such as deed research and generate base maps using AutoCAD software
• Conduct boundary calculations, analysis, and provide field support calculations
• Carry out research and analysis related to title reports, ROW/E, Land Title Surveys, topography, and mapping

Skills you ideally bring to the table as a Transportation Engineer…

• 5 years or more experience in surveying
• Illinois Survey license
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with AutoCAD
