Transportation Engineer
Job Overview: Our client is seeking to add a NEW Transportation Engineer to their team. The Transportation Engineer is responsible for performing detailed design, analysis, and engineering calculations for a variety of transportation projects.
This is a Direct Hire role.
What you will be doing as a Transportation Engineer…
- Develop, review, and finalize comprehensive project reports
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Survey Department to schedule and communicate project work
- Ensure project completion within established timelines and budget constraints
- Lead the planning and preparation of detailed transportation project plans and specifications
- Conduct periodic on-site construction inspections and provide oversight
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience
- Illinois PE required. PTOE not required but desired
- Experience with PowerGEOPAK and/or OpenRoads Designer preferred
