At Saige Partners, The Director of Sales for Contract-to-Hire Recruiting will be responsible for leading and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance client relationships. This leadership role will involve managing a team of recruiting professionals, building and maintaining strong client partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities in the contract-to-hire recruiting market.

The Director of Sales will play a crucial part in scaling the sales efforts and ensuring that targets are met while promoting the value proposition of contract-to-hire recruitment services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead, manage, and coach a recruiting team, ensuring that individual and team goals are achieved.
  • Provide direction on prospecting, lead generation, and closing strategies to maximize sales effectiveness.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular feedback, sales training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other departments (recruitment, marketing, operations) to ensure sales and recruiting teams are aligned and working effectively toward shared objectives.
  • Client Acquisition & Account Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their workforce needs and offering tailored contract-to-hire solutions.
  • Oversee the internal Saige Partners FBA process from lead qualification to deal closure, ensuring a smooth and professional client experience.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients, expand existing accounts, and increase market share within the contract-to-hire recruiting space.
  • Lead client presentations and proposals, ensuring the company’s value proposition is clearly articulated.
  • Revenue Generation & Sales Performance
  • Drive sales activities and maintain responsibility for meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, KPIs, and forecasted revenue, providing insights and strategic adjustments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to develop and adjust sales targets and strategies based on market dynamics.
  • Sales Strategy Development
  • Help to develop and implement effective sales strategies for acquiring clients in need of contract-to-hire recruitment services.
  • Leverage market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback to continuously refine the sales approach.
  • Identify new business opportunities and markets for growth in the contract-to-hire recruiting space.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create compelling sales collateral, campaigns, and outreach programs to drive lead generation.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment
  • Act as a liaison between sales and the recruitment team, ensuring smooth communication and coordination to fulfill client staffing requirements effectively.
  • Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by working with internal teams to resolve any service issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.
  • 7+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in selling contract-to-hire or staffing solutions.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or management role within a recruiting or staffing environment.
  • Strong understanding of the contract-to-hire recruiting model and the ability to sell its benefits to diverse industries.
  • Exceptional leadership, team-building, and motivational skills to guide a sales team toward achieving aggressive targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and sales performance tools.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and networks within the staffing industry.
Preferred:
  • Experience in building and managing a high-performance sales team.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment processes, workforce trends, and industry regulations related to contract staffing.
  • Established connections in the staffing or HR industry are a plus.
