Business Development Manager - Dedicated

Job Overview: Our transportation client located in Dubuque, IA and the Quad Cities area is seeking to add a remote Business Development Manager - Dedicated to their team. The Business Development Manager - Dedicated is responsible for selling dedicated services. To be successful in the role, you must have a full understanding of pricing and how it works, a hard worker with a drive for results who can persevere in the face of resistance or setbacks, and is a true hunter.

This is a Direct Hire position.

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities
  
• Sell dedicated services
• Involved in pricing
  
• Create strategies for hunting
  

• Minimum of 5 years of transportation dedicated sales
  
• Bachelor's degree preferred
  
• Proven hunter sales mentality and demonstrated ability closing new business
  
• Strong strategy and tools to generate prospects and new business (i.e. ZoomInfo)
  
• Proven track record of producing profitable growth
  
• Pricing logic and analysis
  
• Time & territory management reporting process
  
• Strong work ethic and sense of integrity
• Self-starter/entrepreneurial
