A company in Longview, TX is seeking an Instrument & Electrical Engineer passionate about applying the latest engineering technology and industry trends.

Team Overview The Electrical team ensures site-wide mechanical integrity and reliability through technology, reporting to the Asset Management Leader and engaging with IT/OT, Operations Excellence, Operations, and Projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the lifecycle of electrical/instrumentation systems.
• Design and implement electrical projects.
• Lead root cause failure analysis.
• Support maintenance and operations.
• Provide technical recommendations and training.
• Develop risk management strategies.
• Support MOC, PSSR, and RCA efforts.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 5 years in a technical electrical role.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical engineering.
• Experience in petrochemical or industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of power distribution systems.
• Professional Engineering Licensure.
• Functional Safety Engineering Certification.
• Experience with ETAP, SKM, and plant networks.
