Location: Facilities in Lafayette, IN, and Durham, NC

Compensation:
Lead Aviation Mechanic: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (based on experience)
Support Aviation Mechanics: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:
We are actively seeking a qualified A&P Certified Lead Aviation Mechanic along with 2-3 A&P Certified Aviation Mechanics to work on a multi-site project at GE facilities in Lafayette, IN, and Durham, NC. This project involves performing initial inspections, cleaning, and final inspection/qualification on LPTACC manifolds. The project is expected to last several months, with the possibility of establishing a long-term partnership with the client based on performance.

The ideal candidates must be experienced in the aeronautics industry, Part 145 certified, and familiar with FAA regulations and safety standards. The Lead Mechanic will oversee the team, manage the workflow, and act as the main point of contact with the customer. Support mechanics will assist in the maintenance process, ensuring the project is completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Aviation Mechanic:
Supervise a team of 2-3 A&P certified mechanics on-site at GE facilities.
Oversee the inspection, cleaning, and qualification of LPTACC manifolds.
Act as the main liaison between the team and the customer, ensuring project goals are met.
Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, Part 145 standards, and safety protocols.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise.
Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed and inspections.

Support Aviation Mechanics:
Assist in performing initial inspections, cleaning, and final inspections/qualifications on LPTACC manifolds.
Follow instructions from the Lead Mechanic to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Perform troubleshooting and repair tasks as needed on airframes and powerplants.
Ensure all work meets FAA and safety compliance standards.
Collaborate effectively with the team to meet project deadlines and expectations.

Qualifications:

For All Roles:
A&P Certification (Airframe & Powerplant) required.
FAA Part 145 Certification required.
Previous experience in the aeronautics industry preferred.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

For Lead Aviation Mechanic:
Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or lead mechanic role.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
