This is a Traveling position open to anyone within the USA.
Per diem is included!
We are paying round-trip miles to and from Michigan.
We need a 60 day commitment from all candidates. (Unless some kind of emergency arises) After the first 60days they can continue to commit 60days and so on until the project is over.

Job Summary: The Automotive Mechanic Senior will modify cars and trucks in a prototype environment, performing a wide range of diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. The Automotive Mechanic Senior mentors and oversees team members technical deliverables to ensure Roush and customer standards are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain vehicle functional condition by working off repair orders or leader instructions and
conducting inspections.
Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replace parts and components.
Read, interpret, and follow service procedures.
Train, coach, and mentor team members related to their job responsibilities and is available as a subject matter expert to assist the team and customers.
Maintain vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair orders.
Keep shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting
breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs.
Lead daily shop organization and clean-up.
Education and Experience (required):
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 8 years of work experience as a Mechanic.
Education and Experience (preferred):
Certificate in Automotive Technology or related.
State Mechanic Certification(s).
Valid drivers license.
