We are seeking a Business Portfolio & Engagement Data Analyst / Programmer to support major capital projects by delivering high-quality data products and analytics solutions.
This role works closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, identify data sources, evaluate use cases, and develop tools that enable informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
The position involves working with modern data platforms and tools, including Power BI, Azure DevOps, data lakes, AI initiatives, and Microsoft 365 solutions, while ensuring compliance with data governance and project standards.
Develop, maintain, and support data products such as dashboards, reports, and analytics tools
Design and deliver leadership reports with actionable insights
Support data extraction, transformation, and analysis from multiple sources (e.g., data lakes, enterprise systems)
Ensure data integrity, traceability, and reliability across all solutions
Administer and configure Transition to Operations (TTO) tools, including:
Organizational structures and projects
SQL rules and API integrations
Data mapping and taxonomy definitions
Support Azure DevOps (ADO) for backlog and development tracking
Contribute to AI-driven initiatives and automation opportunities
Implement workflows using Power Automate and leverage Microsoft Copilot capabilities
Collaborate with technical and business teams to define use cases and requirements
Provide training and support to end users and stakeholders
Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly and proactively
Present insights and explain data dependencies and outputs
Provide Level 1 support for tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, Copilot, and SharePoint
Troubleshoot issues and maintain logs for tracking and resolution
Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and quality assurance activities
Identify improvement opportunities and recommend enhancements
Ensure adherence to data security, risk management, and compliance policies
Maintain documentation and ensure continuity through knowledge sharing and backup plans
Support transition activities between systems and platforms (TTO processes)
Advanced proficiency in:
Microsoft Power BI
Microsoft Power Automate
Microsoft 365 tools
Experience with:
Azure DevOps
SQL (query writing and optimization)
Data lakes and data integration processes (ETL)
Familiarity with document management systems (e.g., SharePoint or similar)
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
Strong experience working with data products, analytics, and reporting tools
Proven ability to analyze data sources and data flows
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in major capital projects or construction environments
Knowledge of facility engineering concepts
Exposure to enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Primavera P6, or similar
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Attention to detail and data quality focus
Proactive mindset with continuous improvement orientation
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of deliverables
Communicate risks, issues, and progress in a timely manner
Maintain documentation and ensure knowledge transfer
Provide training and ongoing support to users
Monitor workload and capacity, keeping stakeholders informed
