Financial Accountant

Strategic Staffing Solutions client - a global electronics manufacturer - is seeking a new member - a financial accountant. 

The Financial Accountant is responsible for executing and supporting all accounting activities within an international manufacturing environment. The role ensures accuracy and compliance with German GAAP and US GAAP, supports month‑end closing and helping to analyze and improve accounting processes.

Your responsibilities: 

• Execute Financial Accounting Activities Perform daily and monthly accounting tasks in accordance with German GAAP and US GAAP, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and general ledger maintenance.
• Support Month-End and Year-End Closing Assist in delivering timely and accurate month end and year end close, ensuring completeness, compliance, and alignment with corporate standards.
• Monitor and Evaluate Accounting Processes Continuously assess existing accounting procedures, identify inefficiencies, and recommend and implement improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and standardization.
• Support Audits and Compliance Requirements Prepare documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulations.
• Contribute to Process Improvement Projects Actively participate in cross functional projects focused on optimization, automation, and the creation of scalable accounting processes suitable for an international manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate Across Departments Work closely with operations, Shared-Service Center, procurement, and other teams to ensure accurate financial data flow.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in finance or accounting
• Ability to analyze and improve accounting processes
• Solid understanding of HGB; US-GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley is beneficial
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• Proficiency in Excel and general digital workflows
• Fluent German (C1) and at least professional English (B2)
