Strategic Staffing Solutions International is partnering with a Fortune 500 global technology leader in trading, clearing, and exchange solutions operating across six continents. We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong expertise in Finance and Regulatory Reporting to join a dynamic Product Management Solutions team in Warsaw.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape next generation regulatory reporting software used by financial institutions worldwide. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to translate complex financial regulations into powerful technology solutions.

What you will do

• Translate complex financial regulations and reporting requirements into clear product features and functional requirements
• Produce high-quality Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and Functional Specification Documents (FSDs)
• Work closely with engineering teams to ensure business requirements are accurately implemented
• Support QA teams in designing effective testing scenarios and validating solutions
• Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends
• Act as a subject matter expert for internal teams, clients, and pre-sales initiatives
• Contribute insights to thought leadership content such as blogs, publications, and webinars

What we’re looking for

• Experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or regulatory/compliance technology
• Experience working with banks, asset managers, hedge funds, brokerage firms, or clearing institutions (or vendors serving them)
• Strong knowledge of EBA and local regulatory reporting frameworks, such as:
• FINREP
• Bank of England Statistical Reporting
• Bundesbank Statistical Reporting
• Solid understanding of accounting and financial reporting
• Good knowledge of banking products such as bonds, loans, collateral, repos, derivatives, and guarantees
• Strong documentation and analytical skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
• Fluent English and French
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory documentation and translate it into clear technical requirements
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment

Nice to have

• Experience with Controller View / Axiom reporting platform
• Familiarity with Agile or other software development methodologies
• Exposure to data analysis tools (SQL, R, or similar)

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Science, or a related field is preferred.
